Our work is organised into four broad categories — explore each below.
Activities of Hindu Yuba-Chattra Parishad are divided mainly into four categories:
Growing our reach and connecting with communities.
Creating pressure on government and administration through democratic means.
Preparing the greater Hindu society for self-defence.
Development programmes for economic self-reliance among the youth community.
HYCP gives maximum importance to publicity and expansion. As per the constitution of the organisation, any boy of age group between 16 and 45 can be its member. HYCP is always trying to connect with students from upper high school to university.
Members of the organisation relentlessly work for the betterment of society — initiating cleanliness drives in public places like temples, naamghars and educational institution campuses, and thus connecting with civil society.
HYCP also organises free coaching classes, medical camps, and rescue and rehabilitation camps for victims of natural calamities, along with cultural shows that reflect our rich heritage. Wall writing, leaflet distribution and postering are other ways HYCP publishes its mottos, alongside Gaon Sabhas and connections with local youth groups, libraries and clubs.
Like other pressure groups, HYCP also takes up agitational programmes for the greater cause of society and our state — while always avoiding anti-people agitational programmes.
HYCP believes that agitational programmes like a "bandh" are a weapon of those without the organisational strength to pressurise government or administration through effective means. Instead, HYCP takes up agitational ways like dharna, hunger strike, effigy burning, satyagrah and procession.
Besides these, HYCP expresses its views and demands through press meets and press releases.
